But you still loved her

Written during some emotional moment. Not a poem just a flow of thought:

The dream you dreamt, she would love you more
Make you the man who possess her
Be your mother, caring and kind
Give you direction in life.
There you find her at a secret corner of your life
She smiles at your face as if she knows you,
Calls you closer and kisses your lips,
You feel the world under your feet.

Then comes the doldrums and crushing of dreams,
The woman you called your own was not to be.
Her mind cold and sinful life overcrowded your thoughts
But you still loved her..

Never to give up, inevitable fate
You kept on trying to win her love, Days passed by years too,
But no improvement did she show.
You took care of her crestfallen mind
Picked her up like a wounded bird
Caressed her, soothed her, ceased her bleeding
She dint respond
But you still loved her..

Showering her with incessant drops of care
As a mother kisses tender on a child's forehead,
But could not melt her frozen heart
She remained cold and uncaring.
Thinking where you went wrong, why she turned away?
Its life, its fate and hope which still keeps you strong
Keep the flame of love awake, coz true love never fails
Because you still love her..
